Turn off Alum Rock to Brundage Road, about 2.5 miles from the 680 freeway
exit. The turn off is located to the right of the "East Highlands" sign
wall, and is marked with a "Detour" sign. Brundage makes an immediate
right up the hill. Turn left at Highland, then right on Brundage Way, then left on
Alta Vista Way. Alta Vista turns right, then left. Turn left at Miradero, then
turn right onto Crothers road at the stop sign. Follow Crothers about 1/2 mile, then
turn left at the "Country Club Heights" sign. Park in the lot by the club
house. You can walk beween the pond and the town houses, then up the steps, turn
right at the top of the hill, go down La Quebrada to number 126, which is the second house
on the right. The directions are not really as complicated as they seem, just follow the detour signs from Brundage to Crothers. |
